0626-3FT-HIGH-ONLINEThose of you who are no where near Kicks Hawaii, Huf, Dave’s Qulaity Meat, or other select retailers, are in for a treat if you want a pair of Vans from the second round of the 3 Feet High pack. Kicks Hawaii will be selling 90 pairs, 30 of each style online starting tonight midnight, but the catch is that is will be Hawaiian time, so you have to figure out what time that is in your time zone if you’re not in Hawaii. To make things even better, Kicks is throwing is the tee that is releasing alongside the shoes for no charge if you order online. I have plenty of pics of the sneakers and tee after the jump so take a look and decide if you want to stay up tonight. If the sneakers do not all sellout by Sunday at midnight, the online selling of the sneakers will be closed, so act quick. Click on the link below or the picture above to take you to KICKS/HI’s online store.

KICKSHI-summer-sale-2009Kicks Hawaii and Leilow are having a massive sale starting tomorrow and the timing couldn’t be better for me, as I am in Honolulu currently on vacation. I will definitely be heading out tomorrow to check it out. Read the flyer for all the info.

vans-3-feet-high-half-cabs-4-540x313Youv’e probably heard of this collaboration by now, as this is the second time around for the four brands. The release date is getting even close, and now we have detailed pictures of the three sneakers from Kicks Hawaii, Dave’s Quality Meat, and Huf. They will be dropping on June 12th for $90 which is not bad, but a pricier than most Vans. I thought about copping the KICKS/HI one since I’ll be in Hawaii right after the drop, but I will probably be saving my money. Take a look at the pics after the jump to see if you will be going after any of them.

dqm-huf-kicks-hi-vans-3-feet-high-half-cab-3I previewed these earlier this week, but now you can get a much better look at the latest installment of the 3 Feet High collection from Vans, Kick Hawaii, Huf, and Dave’s Quality Meat. This time based on the Half Cab, the shoe’s main highlights revolve around the use of materials which include some nice selections such as red snakeskin (HUF), perforated suede and mesh (KICKS/HI) as well as a modified checkered pattern (DQM). A release date has been set for the month of June. The release should be perfect for me, since I will be in Hawaii in June but if they don’t release that week I can just head up to Huf. I like the HUF and KICKS/HI ones but I need to see them in person, because I am not totally sold on either version.

reebok-kickshi-reverse-jam-mid-frontKicks Hawaii seems to live for the Summer months. They barely had anything during the Winter, but it they are coming strong during the warm months with this new pack with Reebok. KICKS/HI used their signature colorways on the Reverse Jam Mid and both colors feature preforated suede. Both colorways are nice for some outdoor balling and will be available soon at KICKS/HI.

dqm-huf-kicks-hi-vans-half-cab-3-feet-highThe trio of sneaker stores are back together like old times putting together a sequel to their original 3 Feet High pack. In 2007, Dave’s Quality Meat, Huf, and Kicks Hawaii collaborated with Vans to create the 3 Feet High Chukka pack and it was a hit. The three stores each chose their own unique colorway, and some might say all three were quality. Well two years later and the trio each took their spin on the clasic Half-Cab. The DQM one features a blue plaid print, Huf used snakeskin again, but this time red, and KICKS/HI kept things simple but cool with some black mesh and neon accent colors. I’m pretty excited for this pack because I think I will be in Hawaii when these release and hopefully will be able to get my pair at Kicks Hawaii. I like the KICKS/HI one the best, but the Huf one is pretty flashy as well. No word on release date, but I am hoping they will drop in the middle of June.

0506kh-conference-champs-pack-01Kicks Hawaii is getting back into season with their Confrence Champs pack inspired by the U of Hawaii’s baseball team. I’ve been waiting patiently for some new tees from KICKS/HI, and they brought their classic script logo back in home and away colors. The script New Era fitted also makes a comeback with an 80’s U of H colorway that is nice and bright for the Summer. These drop this Satuday at the Makaloa and Ward KICKS/HI locations in Honolulu. I will be stopping by in June, so hopefully they will have plenty of new stuff.

kick-hi-teaserI was surprised that I hadn’t seen anything from Kicks Hawaii as far as their own brand, but it looks like they got some stuff ready for the Summer. The dropped this little teaser on their blog of a red tee featuring their classic logo on the front. There should be much more from them as they have had pretty expansive lines in the past. Hopefully it will all be ready for my trip to Hawaii in June, as I always make a stop at KICKS/HI when I’m on the islands.

This video might seem totally random to some of you, but Sig Zane has worked with Kicks Hawaii to create some of the best New Era fitteds. I have both of them that released and this video is interesting to see the stories that go along with his designs.

Watch renowned Hilo fashion designer Sig Zane as he shares Hawaiian traditions and culture in his unique aloha wear designs. See him at work and follow him through a walking tour of Hilo, the town that inspires his work.

0331yzy01bjpgBy now it is not secret that the Air Yeezys release this Saturday at the major Nike retailers, Kicks Hawaii being one. But there is something very different about the release at Kicks Hawaii. KanYe has been in Hawaii working in the studio and Kicks/HI is saying the man himself might make a stop by on Saturday. It is not guranteed but they say they are all ready in talk for him to come. You do not know how jealous I am of this. First of all Kicks Hawaii is like my favorite store and second what’s better than meeting kanYe himself while getting his sneakers? I feel like hopping on a plane right now and lining up because this is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity.

kamaheleA lot of streetwear brands seem to be venturing away from just tees and hoodies to bags and accessories like Supreme, The Hundreds, Kicks/Hi, and now Fitted Hawaii. The premiere new era shop in Hawaii is moving away from their classic fitteds to this rugged backpack. Named the Kamahele is a rough translation of “traveler” in Hawaiian. With some military grade materials and some tribal details, the Kamahele makes one mean yet simple backpack. Look out in the coming weeks for this backpack at Fitted Hawaii.
