A new track from Jermaine off of Elite’s mixtape The Groundwork. 2010 should be a good year for J. Cole if he drops his album this year.

BTW it appears audio streaming no longer works. I’ll be looking for a fix on that, but I have some big announcements for Maxpreme in 2010 coming soon…

This might be the one of the best Christmas Eves ever. I did not think we would get this song so quickly, but here it is after Just Blaze and Jay Electronica just played it on the radio on Tuesday.

It looks like anything that Jay Electronica and J. Cole are on will be fire. This song is the definition of great hip-hop. I mean four of the best rappers, from newcomers to respected artist, this song has it all on top of a dope beat. What more can you ask for?

Before the last stop on the tour, J. Cole and Wale spits some freestyles at a Denny’s. Wale is a pretty good freestyler, even when he’s high, and J. Cole does a pretty good job as well. Hope to see the two Roc Nation rappers working together more in the future, because Beautiful Bliss is one of my favorite songs of 2009.

Complex got an inside look at the Jay-Z tour from J. Cole’s point of view with his Diary of The Blueprint 3 tour. They run through his daily schedule on the day of show including his run-ins with tour-mates Wale and Pharrell. Complex even asks Wale and J. Cole how they feel about each others’ verses on Beautiful Bliss. Pretty cool to see what goes on in the back of a Jay-Z tour so check it out at the Complex blog.

Probably my favorite track off of Wale’s debut album Attention: Deficit. I know this uses the same sample as Lupe Fiasco’s Theme Music to a Driveby, but I love that, because I love that song. J. Cole’s verse is crazy and Melanie Fiona is great on the hook. J. Cole is 2 for 2 with his feature on big albums. Wale’s album is so dope and it is just the album I needed right now. I have been waiting for a new album, since Jay and Cudi dropped theirs and Wale came through. Go cop the album on November 10, 2009.

While we are on the topic of Roc Nation artists, here is a new track from J. Cole. After being featured on Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3, J. Cole will be moving on to his other labelmate Wale’s album as well. Check for Cole’s album next year.

j cole 16 bars mxpThe star of Roc Nation performed his verse off of A Star is Born a capella last week at a show in North Carolina. KanYe did a pretty good job with the beat, but I think J. Cole’s verse sounds even better live like this a capella. J. Cole should have an album out by next year, but is hoping to release another mixtape before then. So stay tuned for that.

Not a new song from J. Cole, as this one on his last mixtape, but he will be taking the Drake route and will be releasing the song as a single. Lights Please was a favorite off of the Roc Nation artist’s mixtape that dropped earlier this year and starting today it will be getting some airtime on the radio. J. Cole was the only other artists to get a verse on Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 so many people have heard of him in some way now. This should help get his name out there before he drops his debut album next year.

If a star is born everyday, then I guess today is J Cole’s day. The first official Roc Nation artists shines on his boss’s album and should make him very proud. This was the other song that Ye said was on his better productions, but that must have been before he and No I.D. did Thank You and Already Home because those songs are a little better. Jay was a lot more consistent on this album than I thought he would be and J Cole really does shine on this track. Fuck everything I have said in the past about The Blueprint 3 because the album turned out to be 20x better than what I thought last week. I know it is too late, but Jay needs to take the Timbaland tracks off the album. No disrespect to him, but how does he go from Dirt Off Your Shoulders to this shit on the album. Enough of the complaining though, this is the last song I’ll be leaking on here, go out on September 11, 2009 and buy this album.

COVER_FNL6x6_HINo offense to Wale, but at least somebody released their mixtape on time this week. I haven’t given this a listen yet, but it should be some good stuff. J. Cole is signed to Jay-Z new label Roc Nation, which seems to be going pretty strong with other members like Wale and Mickey Factz.
