What a way to start 2010. What more could you ask for than a Reflection Eternal mixtape with new material from them? This is a dope collection of their classics as well as some of their upcoming songs and unreleased hits. This is all leading up to the Reflection Eternal album Revolutions Per Minute that will be dropping in March. I see no reason not to download this album as Kweli and Hi-tek should be a staple to everyone’s music library.

2010 should indeed be a great year for hip-hop.

As you probably know by now, Hi-Tek and Kweli are back again and will releasing a new album, Revolutions Per Minute, later this year. KarmaloopTV sat down with the duo recently at one of the Rock the Bells stops to talk about coming back and the new album. Hi-Tek is one of my favorite producers and Kweli is up there with other lyricists so I will definitely be looking forward to the new album.

Hi-Tek and Talib Kweli are back together as Reflection Eternal and should be putting out a new album this year. This year really can’t get much better for hip-hop unless, Nas gets in the studio with: 9th Wonder, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Q-Tip, Hi-Tek, Large Professor, LES, and kanYe and makes a new album. But that will never happen.

Talib Kweli and Hi Tek talk about their reunion and performing at the 2009 SXSW conference. I have been finding my way back to their music lately, so it will be nice to hear some new songs.

Another day, another Detox leak with T.I. again but this one is prodcued by Hi-Tek. Someone at Interscope better fix this leaky faucet unless Dre is doing this on purpose to create some buzz. This is just a 1:20 sample of the song but you get to hear most of it. I think it sounds pretty good and I am starting to wonder why Dre and T.I. haven’t worked like this in the past. Oh and for those of you that are counting, this is the fourth Detox leak with T.I.
