In this episode follow Maestro and his friend Ibn to the Venice skate park and then on to Chicago to check out RSVP Gallery. Plus Ibn gives Maestro a tour of downtown Chicago’s shopping district. You should be able to figure out why Lupe shouts out his name in Paris, Tokyo and kanYe named a pair of LV sneakers after him.
In this episode Maestro kicks off season 3 with his friend 9th Wonder in North Carolina. 9th speaks on Fruity Loops, good music, teaching an upcoming course at Duke University and cooks up a beat for Maestro’s new intro. I swear Maestro can like read my mind, because I had hoped that he would be showcasing 9th Wonder and sure enough here he is in the third season.
When it comes to sneaker websites, Niketalk has to be the most infamous one[named best sneaker website by Playboy Magazine]. It has been around since 1999 and for their 10th Anniversary they will be releasing four limited edition tees. For the past couple of years, they have been releasing new tees, but I think this year is their best ones yet. The tees may not make sense if you aren’t a NT’er so just move along if you have no idea what I am talking about. I’ve been on Niketalk since 2003 and will be looking to cop the NT Knows tee. NT may not be as resourceful as it once was, but you gotta love the comedy in the General section.
I think I broke NT Rule #1 with this post

In this episode join Maestro and his friend 13th Witness as they roam from Washington Square Park to Coney Island for Maestro’s last day in the city. Special guest Nigel Sylvester. Maestro and 13th Witness are amazing at what they do and I can’t wait for their collaboration website. Maestro is a genius for using the I Wonder instrumental from the Glow in the Dark Tour and fading it into the actual song. I Wonder is by far my favorite song of all time and it matched the video perfectly. Although this is the finale of the NYC Edition, I am sure we will be seeing much more of Maestro in 2010.
Join Maestro & his friend Jonathan Mannion as they spend an afternoon at Mannion studios digging through past, present & future works of the seasoned photographer including the likes of Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Usher, Aaliyah and many others. Plus J. Mannion lets Maestro get a spot on the “Wall Of Fame”. I am pretty sure Maestro knows every single person that has some type of importance in the behind the scenes of things. I mean you go through Jonathan’s library of photos and you see some of the most iconic album covers and magazine shoots ever. I can’t even imagine who Maestro is going to be showing next.
Sorry for the lack of posting lately, been really sick. No swine flu though. Anyways in this episode Maestro takes the ferry into the city to visit his friend Anoma, fashion director for Complex Magazine and experiences a new and different day in New York City. Complex Magazine is pretty much the only magazine I read. Not only because I get it for free, but I actually enjoy the majority of the magazine.
Maestro has been rolling through the streets of NYC lately with 13th Witness, who is amazing with his lens. They just shot the intro video for the NYC Edition of Maestro Knows, which will be premiering on Monday. 13th Witness also shot the intro video for Season 2, which I thought was really well shot. I think I like this one better, but the Cam’Ron instrumental in the background was nice last time. Check back on Monday for Episode 1 of NYC.

Jay-Z’s On to the Next One is a fitting song for Maestro to play in the background of his video announcement, because he is indeed moving on to the next one. That next city is New York City. Yup, Maestro is taking is internet sensation to the Empire State for all new episodes of Maestro Knows. You know I will be looking forward to every episode and you will be able to watch each and every one of them right here on Maxpreme.
