Phonte is right at home in North Carolina, but Nicolay came all the way from the Netherlands for their live perforamance in Charolette. The live show was hosted my MySpace Music and they duo performed songs off of both of their albums, Connected and Leave it All Behind. Phonte was already one of my favorite mc’s and after this past week he has become one of my favorite artists after I found out he could sing. The Foreign Exchange arguably makes some of the best music with their connection of hip hop, R&b, and jazz. I downloaded their two albums earlier this week and haven’t been able to stop playing them since then.
